CID - Episode 626 - Ek Khoon Do Baar
The episode opens with Insp Aditya shot badly. He is rushed into surgery and seems critical, but suddenly recovers fully once he enters the ICU. We realize that he is not actually injured the attack on him was a ploy/ruse for him to enter the ICU. Inside the ICU Aditya meets the tense Dr Sunil. Dr Sunil is to do a serious surgery on a witness who is scheduled to go to court soon. Just before the surgery, Dr Sunil found that his family had been kidnapped. The kidnappers have told him that they will be freed only if he botches up the surgery on the witness and the patient dies on the operating table! If he tries any tricks or calls the cops then his family will be killed. Dr Sunil is warned by the kidnappers that they have a mole hiding in the hospital who is keeping them informed on his activities. A panicked Dr Sunil somehow managed to inform the cops who said they would enter the ICU without anyone realising that the cops had come. Can the cops find and save Dr Sunils family without the kidnappers finding out? Will the witness survive the operation by a doctor whose hands are quivering due to anxiety? Who is the mole in the hospital keeping watch? The cops have to go about the entire case with great secrecy.. and while racing against time. An episode that is shot in real time.
